Moma Robin on my front porch

This is a Robin's nest that was built in my wreath on my front porch.  I hope all of our company have not scared the mother away.  I saw online that on family put up a do not disturb sign on their porch so the mother Robin and her family would not be bothered.  Alas I hope they hatch.   Pam

Movie

This little video is the inside of a card I made for my grandchildren.  I used some transparency paper to attach the little eggs rabbit and chicken to the middle of the card so they would pop up.  I am sorry I don't know who did this but I got the idea from the You tube video for a birthday card and thought it was a cute idea. It is a standard  A2 size card but you have to make a layer for the middle that is 12 inches by 4.25 and I folded the middle with a mountain valley folds at 1/2 inch each ... and put some score tape in the center to hold the 1/2 inch strips inside.  The basket is from Doodle charms and the rabbit eggs and bunnies are from the Easter 2010 cart .  The little stamp is from Stampin up.  I think the set is called Eggcoutrements. If I ever figure out how to do this I would love to make some videos for You Tube.  It seems it take forever to upload these .

Easter 2011

Here are a few of the over 20 Easter cards that I made this year.  Most of them are already gone or in the mail to family members out of town.  I used Cricut Easter cart 2010 for the bunnies and Bloom Lite for the fence.  I got some new Spellbinders dies this year and used it with Heartfelt Creations Stamps to make the iris ( not pictured here) and Spellbinders Heartfelt Creations Die for the fancy frame seen here. The cross and other stamps are also from Heartfelt Creations.
The solid paper used is from Gina K, and DP were from EK Success . I also used Copic markers to color the stamped areas.

Happy Valentine's Day

I made five cards today.  They are for my husband, grandchildren and Mom.  The one with the hand is for me friend Wendy who has a deaf son.  Happy Valentine every one.  The Teddy Bear is made from Sizzix die Build a Bear from Stampin Up, I put him in a cuttlebug folder to make him look fuzzy.  The Owl is from Hampton Art Stamps.  I used some wrapping paper as background paper and it was very cheap to use .  I was surprised how well it worked as designer paper.  The love bandit is Stampin Up set by that name and the Frog was from Cricut Paisley cart and I colored it with Copic markers.
The hand is from Don Juan and I used some paper I rolled up with my quilling tool to make the fingers stay down to say "I love you" in sign language.  I have to make one more card for my Mom.  Her friend has been diaganosed with lung cancer and she always put in special requests for cards for her friends.  I am glad to do it as seems I have a lot of equipment and supplies I need to use.  :>)

Happy Birthday Hunter
